Robs Norton

This single-seat, rear-engined FF rolling chassis, built to customer specifications and dimensions, will be fitted with a roof and bodywork by the owner. It is constructed chiefly from MIG-welded 14 gauge 25mm tubing. The front end is stock Mk11 Voyager, including the footboxes, all built in the original factory jigs.

Person in picture is not the owner but is similar height.

Main challenge was connecting to the Norton powertrain mounts at the rear of the gearbox.
Main innovation is that the steering control mounts directly onto the transverse steering arm, without UJ or linkages. This makes it the simplest, lightest iteration of these components so far. Hand control shown is an adjustable mock-up unit to obtain correct dimensions for production unit.
