SEV Z13 in 2010

The legendary SEV Z13 Phasar was bought from Chris Baker by Bob Milsom in the late 1980s and after Malcolm converted it to a 2-seater, Bob took it to Australia, where he crashed it heavily. After many years languishing there in a badly damaged state, Mark Crowson bought and repatriated the beast a couple of years ago. After a lot of hard work, he has got the engine running beautifully, but the SEV is still a long way from being ready for the road. This photo was taken in January 2010. The rubber-covered footrests were originally the rider footrests. They became the passenger footrests after Malcolm converted the machine and added the wide metal footplates for the rider, further forward.
The white machine in the background is the Suzuki GS1000 Phasar, which is road-legal. PNB
