Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission
Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission has a lot of advantages on any motorcycle or big scooter, but it's particularly suited to FFs.
It's used as standard on the Vultus 750, but it was an option on the original NC700 and the new NC750.
It's also an option on the much more powerful VFR1200 and Crosstourer models, as used in the new British-built Ariel Ace!
More recently DCT has been added to Honda's 21st century 90bhp version of the Africa Twin, as an option.
In 2014 I wrote an article about DCT for The Rider's Digest which can be viewed here:

Complicate, add weight...
DCT 'particularly suited to FFs'
Why?
Suitability of DCT for FFs.
Because it removes the need for a gear lever and enables the rear brake to be put onto the left hand, scooter-style. This makes locating suitably FF footrests easier, and also makes existing footrests much easier to move if modifying an existing motorbicycle. But DCT has none of the drawbacks of the Constantly Variable Transmissions found on big scooters, because you still have a proper 6-speed gearbox with no 'slippage'. PNB
