2016: Blez in Quasar at NMM

It was great to see the newly-acquired Quasar so prominently displayed in the National Motorcycle Museum, complete with an invitation to sit in it! I last saw this machine at the 2010 Quasar Rally in Hastings, when it belonged to Shawn Grinter, who owned it for many years. Photo here:http://bikeweb.com/node/2035
I first saw it in 1984, when it was blue, and belonged to Neil Vass. It was the first Quasar I ever rode, and I had one of my most memorable motorcycling adventures in it when Neil kindly lent it to me to take to the Bol d'Or 24 hour endurance race at the Paul Ricard circuit in the South of France – there are several other photos of it in this section in blue, black & white and yellow! NB: The NMM's previous Quasar which was tragically burnt to a cinder in the disastrous fire, can be seen in the Top Gear Filming section of bikeweb, inside the original museum, here: http://bikeweb.com/node/2920
