I remember!

I think this is the guy that worked as a stylist for Honad R&D Europe. Came over to Bristol with a big video camera and shot footage of FJ with the Quasar (then in the Industrial museum). Bought (for Honad) a whole bunch of FF publications - 130 Euro's worth. Subsequently Honad told me that "The market isn't ready and if Honad should decide to do this, the technical elements are almost simple".

Odd really, the market wasn't ready for the Honad Cub (50cc, copied from NSU), didn't stop them marketing it into a success story ("If you want to get ahead, get a Honad" - Fortunately, at that time, I already had a head). For a market to be 'ready' it has to be aware of the existance of the product...

So, as FFs are so technically simple, it must be a failure of imagination, corporate cowardice, or their marteting dept. is asleep. Whatever.
