Trib with his Silver Wing & the Blez Burger King (2003)

Former Silver Wing and 'Steaming Mango' Gold Wing Phasar owner Andy Tribble shows what the average advertising executive almost certainly does not wear on his superscooter. This head on shot shows how much narrower the (maroon) Silver Wing is compared to the Burgman 650, although the Burger King's mirrors can be pulled right back to make it easier to squeeze through tight spots. The Burger also has more space under the seat and a much more stable chassis, although it's heavier too. Later versions of both machines came with ABS and the Executive version of the Burgman 650 also got electrically operated screen and mirrors, heated grips and heated seat!
Update: Andy Tribble went on to own the classic Quasar now owned by Gavin Newell, then moved on to one of the original 4 Ecomobiles, made in 1987. There are lots of photos of Trib with both machines in the appropriate places here on bikeweb.
