Frame jig

This is the lower half of the frame jig, shown with one side of a wooden mock-up frame, for illustration and clarity.

The jig works as a sandwich, with a lower plate (shown) on which various adjustable location blocks and stops (also shown) are mounted. With the frame members in place the upper plate is fitted and tightened to grip the frame tube in position.

Both the the upper and lower plates have hole bored through them at points where frame tubes intersect. Tack welds can be made through these holes, before removing the frame tubes from the jig for final welding.
