Honda Vultus 750 RHS

March 2014. Honda release details of a new 750cc twin ready for production. And by George, it's the nearest thing to an FF they've ever built!
At 650mm (25.5 inches) the seat is actually slightly lower than that of the venerable Helix/Spazio/Fusion CN 250 which was 665mm/26.2in.
Note the passenger footrests – the adjustable rider backrest folds down to transform into a pillion bum-pad. PNB.

Gosh 3

Shurely the Honad CN250 had a lower seat base and was thus closer to meeting the basic definition of an FF? It's true that once the seat is lowered enough, a seat back is essential - but without lowering the seat base in the first place what's the point?

How about a pic without the bodywork, so the achievable seat height can be seen. Might be a good power train to fit an HCS to and make an FF that isn't CVT like the Tmax. Whats actually under that seat?

Enough Honda advertising already!

I mean, how many time does this have to go up on the front page? It's not an FF, it's no more use than anything else Honad have ever made and I still say the Designers should be ashamed of themselves for a. not doing their homework, and b. coming up with something so half-arsed. Hope that's not too 'uncivil' or is it just individuals that can be criticised, not corporates?

There's nothing here that hasn't been up already, it's not news. Get a grip, stop polluting the site with this rubbish!

Vultus is lower than a CN250, and much more of an FF!

As pointed out elsewhere, the Vulture's seat is actually an inch lower than that of a Honda Helix CN250 – at 25 inches vs 26 inches. If you take the seat off, the frame rails are only 22 inches off the ground.
Having owned 4 Helixes, and ridden more than 5,000 miles in a Vultus, I can say for certain that the Vultus is much, much closer than a Helix to the FF ideal. PNB
