Blez about to take Gerry Hedderwick for a spin in Andy Tribble's 1987 Ecomobile, followed by his wife Michaela, daughter of Malcolm Newell, co-creator of the Quasar.
This machine appeared briefly in the 'amateur footage' sequence of the first four Ecomobiles together, shown during the same Top Gear TV programme in which Malcolm appeared, sitting in and talking about the Quasar, in April 1988.
This snap was taken in Minety, Wiltshire, a couple of hours after the Eco left the launch of the book about Keith Duckworth's life at Castle Combe and only about ten miles from Wroughton, where the UK Top Gear sequence was filmed.
