Keogh Sketch for Commercial Lynch-type Electric Streamliner

This sketch by renowned and respected motorcycle designer John Keogh has been on the Cedric Lynch page on bikeweb since John drew it back in 2010, but now that Cedric's company Agni and Agility have joined forces to form Saietta, I thought it should also appear in this Saietta Group folder as a reminder of the fact that it would be perfectly possible for the Saietta Group to produce a good-looking, commercial version of the streamliner that their chief engineer and technician Cedric Lynch originally built for himself some twenty years ago and which he has been riding on the road ever since. (Powered by one of his own electric motors naturally).

As I said originally, I had hoped that something like this would be built in time for the second Brighton-London electric economy run in November 2011, but that didn't happen and now the event (linked to the Veteran Car run) no longer takes place, which is a great shame.

Back in 2010 Cedric said that the mirrors as drawn would add much more wind resistance than he would like; he would prefer them more like the ones he has mounted inside his existing machine. Knowing him, I know he would also want much narrower tyres for lower rolling resistance.

Many thanks to John for allowing us to show it here.
