PetaH in the Mk1 ComforTmax in 2002

Peta Heskell, aka The Flirt Coach, in the original incarnation of the ComforTmax parked outside my flat in Hampton during the time that I was testing it in July 2002. The standard Mk1 Tmax which I borrowed from Yamaha UK to compare it with, is almost hidden behind it, alongside, with just its snout visible. Sadly, for reasons which were not clear, when ridden side-by-side, the ComforTmax proved slightly slower than the standard machine on acceleration and no better on top speed or fuel consumption. The handlebars were unchanged from standard which made them slightly too high with the lowered seat. Perfectly livable-with, but not ideal. PNB
