1978 Morbidelli FF racer sketches

Two ancient sketches from 1978 for a radical FF racer, apparently done by the Italian firm Morbidelli. (The accompanying caption says it was 1978, but a more direct source, posted by Rob Horn, and also now in this folder, indicates that it was actually in 1978). What a shame they were never built! (as far as we know!). It's nice to think that while Malcolm Newell and Ken Leaman were putting the first Quasars together in Bristol, an imaginative Italian was drawing these even more laid-back FF racers! As can be seen, these drawings were posted on a French Facebook site and shared from there to the FF Facebook site by Chris Batey in April 2019. PNB

Thanks Rob! Now in this same new FF racer folder!

Thanks Rob! Now in this same new FF racer folder! (And I've changed the date from 1976 to 1978 above). PNB

Plaguarist?

Good job this has only just emerged otheriwse I'd be accused of being a plaguarist! (http://bikeweb.com/node/2952) Although imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

How can it be that it's taken sixty five years to get from Gustav's Hammocks to Robert Horn on-track with an FF racer? Oh yes. Old white men in blue Blazers, AKA the F.I.M.
