Design student Hans-Joachim Maier & his BMW K100-based FF in 1987. This image was made widely available to the motorcycle press and anyone else who was interested. However, as some of us pointed out at the time, this machine as shown to the world lacked any proper suspension or steering and was just an eye-catching mock-up. As far as I'm aware no version of this FF ever got as far as being rideable under its own power, let alone road-legal. PNB
