Mark Crowson & GS1000 Phasar in 2004

Mark Crowson with the Suzuki GS1000-powered machine that started life as a Tait HCS-steered Quasar but was turned into a Phasar by Malcolm Newell at its first owner's request. This photo was taken on the tenth anniversary of Malcolm's death in 2004. Mark rode the bike from Hastings to Heddington (Wilts) and back the same day. The other bike is a Vincent belonging to PUB, a regular contributor to Motorcycle Sport in the 1970s & 1980s. PNB
