A superbly conceived and built machine, created by Allert Jacobs in the Netherlands back in 2007-2010. Based on a standard Honda Innova 125 Step-thru it retains the standard frame and wheelbase in order to conform to the strict Dutch regulations regarding modified machines. Dodds BMW K100FF
This machine was built some time towards the end of the 20th century by a chap called Mr Dodds in the north of England. I had several communications with him at the time, but alas have lost them. I recall that he did do a long trip on this machine, somewhere towards the frozen Scandinavian north. PNB

Ian Alderton's GTS1000FF (2000-2006)
Ian Alderton writes: "My FF project started in late 2000 and finished in December 2006. Concept: no roof because I wear motorcycle clothing anyway, seating position quite high for good visibility- triangle is similar to a Fatboy, some 'up to date' technology, usable and functional. Chose the GTS as a base, good points: 'hi techy', cat, Fi, ABS, FFE mainly for looks, chain drive easy to extend wheelbase and the engine is only 420mm wide thanks to the piggyback alternator."

Mick Broom's F650-based FFs (Mk1 & Mk2)
Mick Broom is the man who kept Hesketh motorcycles alive for over 30 years, before selling up a few years ago. Before he did, I was delighted to discover that he'd built an FF of his own design from scratch, based around a BMW F650 single. I even got to have a brief ride in it. Several years later, I discovered that the machine I'd ridden was actually the second FF he'd built based on an F650 BMW. PNB

b) SteveVdB's CABINFFs
This gallery shows a series of photos of Steve Van Den Bergehe's two Cabin FFs. The first is his 'LigBrommer' as he calls it; this simply means 'light moped' in Flemish/Dutch but it's a ground-up machine, as can be seen from the pix. The second is a less radical, but probably much more sale-able cabin conversion for Piaggio's leaning three wheeler, the MP3. Piaggio make several versions of the MP3, from 125cc to 400cc. They also make a version with the front wheels about 50mm wider which can be driven on a car licence. Steve is based in Antwerp, Belgium and has been a Peraves Ecomobile owner for many years. He has also worked extensively on the new Peraves MonoTracers, including the all-electric versions.
