Malcolm & two Phasars in Heddington

Malcolm Newell in the car park of The Ivy pub in Heddington, the Wiltshire village where he lived and created a host of FFs in the 1980s and early 1990s. He's standing behind the second LC350-powered Phasar he built, which he rode during the Top Gear filming at Wroughton in 1988. I had previously ridden it to the Bol d'Or in the South of France in September 1986. The second machine is the VT500-powered machine that he converted from standard to naked FF in a weekend for Julian Bond. (Julian fitted the Phasar fairing himself). PNB
