Senmenti X on show in USA (2024)

First shown at EICMA in 2022, Horwin's electric Senmenti X makes an appearance at CES 2024, the Consumer Electronics Show, held in Las Vegas, in January 2024. While the machine on show looks to be the same mocked-up prototype first seen in Milan in 2022, the Chinese company announced that it will actually be available in 2025. The bold claims for this 'Grand Tourer' include a 125 mph stop speed, 250 mile range and recharging to 80% in only half an hour. Frankly, I'll believe all that when I see it independently tested and achieved in the real world. Still, the announcement of an electric FF going into mass production by a major manufacturer should be something to be celebrated! In this screenshot it's easy to see the transparent fairing panels that should provide the rider with a reasonable amount of protection from wind and weather. PNB
